Dolls Evermore
We are a small doll studio that specializes in all types of doll care and restoration. We restring, clean, repaint, and dust-off dolls of all kinds. Each doll brings new challenges and we are up for it.
We also acquire collections and assist with history and value.
Dolls that come through are shop are sold in our stores on eBay and Etsy.
Our restoration philosophy:
We believe that a doll’s history should not be covered up. We aim to preserve, to fix; not to erase.
Behind the Scenes
Heather Greene, the owner of Dolls Evermore, is first and foremost of doll lover. She’s had dolls as long as can remember and maintains her own small collection, including several of her own childhood dolls.
Heather is also an historian and journalist, who loves the stories that come with old dolls both from the industry and their original owners. Heather has written a number of articles on dolls over the years, and lectured at conventions on the topic.
It was her mother’s Ginny doll, who badly needed a cleaning and a new wig, who got her started in restoration. After fixing the 1950s heirloom, Heather was hooked. Dolls Evermore was born.
Heather does most of the restoration personally but is supported by her partner, who is a professional artist and engineer. His innovative expertise and extensive knowledge of restorative techniques helps guide the studio through some of the most challenging of projects.
Then there are a couple of cats, who do not help whatsoever.
